But Wall Street still hold holds its place in the language as the capital of american finianceAmerican finance. Now Wall Street is being reshaped by the crisis over * mortgage-related securities(抵押相关的有价证券). The markets are neighbour unable to place venuearment*a value on them. The aim is to unblock the flow of credit markets now, then sell the securities later, when the housing market improves. That But the new shape of Wall Street were will be missing a piece. The credit crisis has indeed ended the age of big investment banks. This week , the last two 2, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, became bank holding companies.

As commercial banks, they can take deposits from the public and boulall* borrow from the federal reserve Federal Reserve at any time. This will help them with raise capital. But they will also face closer government supervision.

Henry Paulson had headed Goldman Sachs before he became pressury* secretary Treasury Secretary in 2006. Morgan Stanley also agreed this week to sell up to 20% of itself to japan's Japan's largest bank, Mitsubishi UFJ. And industry investor Warren Buffett agreed to buy at least 5 billion dollars $5,000,000,000 in Goldman Sachsstock.
